About Image Tools

The Workforge Image Tools are browser-only converters, compressors, resizers, and generators built for designers, developers, photographers, and anyone who works with images regularly. Every tool runs locally. Your photos never get uploaded, never get processed on a remote server, and never get retained anywhere.

The collection covers the formats people actually use day-to-day: HEIC from iPhones, JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and SVG. We started by filling gaps in the existing free tools, like quality HEIC support without needing a Mac, true bulk processing with smart cropping, and AI background removal that handles edges well. We keep shipping new converters as users tell us what they need.

Specific use cases we hear a lot: bulk-resizing product photos for an e-commerce listing, converting iPhone photos so they open on Windows, building a full favicon package from a single logo, designing social media cards at scale with brand-consistent templates, and removing backgrounds cleanly from a hundred screenshots. Everything is free, everything is private, and everything works on a phone or a laptop without an install.

Frequently asked questions

Do you upload my photos anywhere?

No. Every image tool listed here runs entirely in your browser. Your photos load into a local canvas, get processed by code running in your tab, and download back to your device. We never see them.

Can I convert HEIC photos without a Mac?

Yes. Our HEIC to JPG and HEIC to GIF tools work on any device including Windows, Linux, Android, and older browsers that do not natively support HEIC. The conversion happens client-side using a decoded WebAssembly pipeline.

What is the largest image you can handle?

It depends on your device memory. Modern phones handle most photos fine; for very large composite images such as panoramas above 50 megapixels a desktop is more reliable. We do not impose artificial limits.

Does the background remover work offline after first load?

Yes. The AI model is downloaded once on first use and runs locally afterward. You can disconnect from the internet and continue removing backgrounds with no degradation in quality.

Is bulk image resize really browser-based?

Yes. You can process hundreds of images locally. We have tested up to 500 at a time on standard hardware. Processing happens in parallel where possible, and the results are downloaded as a single zip file built entirely in your browser.
